Manapan was engaged by Monash University to create a large scale table to sit pride of place in their new chancellery building in Melbourne.
Drawing inspiration from Milingimbi Island the design and even the colours were chosen to represent parts of the Island. A hand carved edge around the table mimics the waters of Milingimbi lapping at the the island.
