65,000 years in the making.
Manapan is a business owned and operated by Yolngu, the indigenous people who have lived in Arnhem Land for over 65,000 years.
Yolngu have a rich and industrious history, having traded with the Macassan and Chinese for over 500 years and well before the European settlement of Australia. Manapan continues this strong tradition.
Rooted in Culture, Created on Country
Produced in Nhulunbuy, 680 kilometres east of Darwin, Manapan custom furniture is created by the men and women of Nhulunbuy and surrounding areas.
